I've been meaning to post this for weeks! My friend Michelle is working hard to raise money for a pig farm in Uganda, a project through Groundwork Opportunities. The pig farm will teach families about raising pigs, give them their own pigs, and enable them to increase their standard of living significantly. She and her colleague are trying to raise about $1,000 more for the farm, to reach their goal of $10,000. They are going to Uganda next month and would like to raise the rest of it by then.

I think that projects like this--where people are benefited with knowledge, new skills, and confidence in their own abilities--are so important, and I hope you donate if you can.
