It technically doesn't count until discussion of the first loss has been completed and everyone has forgotten. Only then do you have a clean slate and a new loser can be declared. :)
Well, in my understanding, I think that there can be multiple losers at once. So while I agree that I am definitely not winning right now because we're discussing the game, I also think that everyone who follows my blog and read my post also lost the game. But, I guess it depends on what version of the game you play as well.
I really love the part in the Wikipedia article that talks about writing on bills or placing hidden notes in place people will find them. That's a much better way to announce the game because then it doesn't come back to bite you like it does here or on Facebook.
And I am curious: did either of you subscribe to the comments on this post, thus ensuring that you would lose the game again if anyone commented after you?
